Aioner Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy explains what data Aioner (the “Bot”) collects from Discord users, why, and what you can do about it. The Bot is operated by morsisko (“we”, “us”), who is the data controller for the data described here. Contact: aioner@aioner.xyz.
This policy applies to everyone in a Discord server where the Bot is active, whether or not they interact with the Bot directly. It does not cover Discord itself; Discord’s own handling of your data is described in the Discord Privacy Policy.
2. What we collect
The Bot collects only what it needs to award XP and show leaderboards. It does not read, store, or analyse the content of your messages.
| Data | Why we collect it | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| Discord user ID | Identifies you so XP is credited to the right account | Until you request deletion |
| Discord username | Shown on the leaderboard so members can recognise you | Until you request deletion |
| Server (guild) ID | Keeps each server’s leaderboard separate | Until you or a server administrator requests deletion |
| XP total and level per server | The score the leaderboard is built from | Until you request deletion |
| Number of rewarded messages per server | Counts how many messages contributed to your XP, for statistics shown with your rank | Until you request deletion |
| Time of your last rewarded message | Enforces the cooldown between XP awards and blocks spam | Overwritten each time XP is awarded |
All of this data is received from Discord through the Discord API when you send a message in a server where the Bot is active. We do not collect email addresses, IP addresses, payment details, or any data from outside Discord.
Data is not deleted automatically when the Bot is removed from a server. It stays stored until you, or an administrator of that server, ask us to delete it (see section 5).
3. How we use your data
We use the data above only to:
- Award XP for messages and enforce cooldowns against spam.
- Build and display per-server leaderboards showing usernames, levels, and rankings.
- Investigate abuse of the Bot, such as XP farming.
- Respond to your requests, for example to delete your data.
Your username, level, and ranking are visible to other members of the server where you earned them, because that is what a leaderboard is. We do not show your data in other servers, and we do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than running the Bot.
Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the leaderboard feature that server administrators chose to add, and your right to object is described in section 5.
4. Storage, security, and sharing
Your data is stored in a database on a virtual private server (VPS) located in the European Union. Access is restricted to the Bot operator, and the database is not publicly reachable. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone, except:
- With Discord, which already holds it and through which the Bot operates.
- With our hosting provider, which stores the database on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes.
- If we are required to by law or a valid legal request.
5. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what data we hold about you.
- Delete all data we hold about you, in one server or in every server.
- Correct your data if it is wrong.
- Stop processing your data (object), which in practice means deleting it, since the Bot cannot run without it.
To make a request, email us at aioner@aioner.xyz, stating the Discord account the request concerns; we may ask you to confirm the account is yours. We aim to respond within 30 days. Deleting your data resets your XP and removes you from leaderboards; if you keep sending messages in a server where the Bot is active, a new record will be created.
Server administrators can remove all data for their server by contacting us.
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK and believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Children, changes, and contact
The Bot is not intended for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age Discord sets for your country. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. For significant changes we will try to give notice on the Bot’s website. Continuing to use the Bot after a change means you accept the updated policy.
